Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 26th April 2025

Thank you for choosing Cristal Forde's Language and Travel Hub for your Spanish learning and travel experiences.
Please carefully review our refund and cancellation policy below.

Spanish Classes

  • All class bookings and tuition payments are non-refundable.
    Once a payment has been made for a class package or course, no refunds will be issued for missed classes, schedule changes, or cancellations initiated by the student. If at our discretion, a refund is issued, a 10% transaction fee will be charged. 

  • Class rescheduling for private classes:
    Rescheduling for private classes are possible with advance notice (24 hours). Missed classes without prior notice will be forfeited.

  • Class rescheduling for group classes:
    Group classes cannot be rescheduled however a recording of the class will be uploaded and available to the student for 14 days.

Travel Programs and Group Trips

Partial Payments (Deposit Installments)

  • Partial payments toward trip packages are non-refundable.
    Deposits and installment payments secure your spot and allow us to book accommodations, tours, and services on your behalf; therefore, they are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Full Trip Payments

  • Full trip payments are 50% refundable if cancellation is requested at least 30 days before the scheduled trip start date.

  • Refunds for cancellations requested less than 30 days before the trip start date will be at the discretion of the hostess.

  • In the event that the host (Cristal Forde / Cristal Forde's Language and Travel Hub) cancels a trip for personal reasons, excluding events beyond our control (such as force majeure, acts of God, pandemics, natural disasters, government restrictions, or political instability), participants will be eligible for a full refund of any amounts paid.

  • If cancellation occurs due to events outside of our control (force majeure, acts of God, etc.), we will work diligently to recover as many costs as possible from vendors; however, refunds are not guaranteed. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.

Refund Processing Fee

  • Any refunds issued, whether provided under this policy or at the discretion of the hostess, will be subject to a 7% transaction fee.
    This fee covers non-refundable processing costs and payment platform charges.

Force Majeure Clause

Cristal Forde's Language and Travel Hub is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or losses caused by events outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, political instability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

General Notes

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 days of written cancellation notice.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to cristal.hablemostt@gmail.com
